Introduction

Rick & Morty is an american animated science fiction TV show, according to what Phil Hardy defines as science fiction. The show was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for the late night programming block called Adult Swim. The show happens around the Smith household, which is formed by the parents Beth and Jerry, their children Summer and Morty and Beth’s father, Rick Sanchez, who is living with them as a guest. Rick is a cynical, alcoholic and crazy scientist who goes on adventures with his cranky, naive and easily manipulated grandson Morty. They divide their time between their home life and interdimensional travels.

The series was first released on December 2, 2013. Currently the series is in the third season that concluded on October 1, 2017. The show was picked up for 70 more episodes in early may 2018.
